Elections Information

Election Dates:

Regular elections will be held on these dates:

February 7, 2024
August 6, 2024
November 5, 2024

Polls will be open from 7 am to 8 pm at the Avery Township Hall.

Absentee Voting:

Absentee voters: When you receive your application for absentee voting for the upcoming election, you will need to check the box "Permanent Ballot." This will put youon the permanent ballot list. Once on this list, you will receive a ballot for every election and will no longer receive an application. Please call Avery Township at 989-785-3278 for further questions.

Early Voting:

Qualified Avery Township electors may vote early at the following location:

Briley Township

Atlanta, MI 49709

Dates for early voting are:

February 17-25 for the February 27 regular election
July 27 - August 4 for the August 6 regular election
October 26 - November 3 for the November 5 regular election

Early voting will be avilable from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on these days.
